Greeky Fruity Yoghurt

This super simple healthy recipe can be made by kids from as young as 3 years old! It’s a great recipe idea for an after school snack, a healthy dessert or a Mother’s Day breakfast!

This kid-friendly recipe has only 3 main ingredients. It’s ready in minutes. Try different fruits and nuts to customise it every time!

Greeky Fruity Yoghurt

Ingredients

Food you'll need
  • fresh fruit like apple, orange, pear, berries, banana, pineapple, kiwi and melon (about 1 cup per person)
  • 2-3 tbsp Greek youghurt
  • 2 tsp honey
  • toasted flaked almonds or chopped nuts of choice (see page 27 for how to toast nuts)
Stuff you'll need
  • chopping board
  • child-safe knife
  • measuring spoons
  • small bowl
  • fancy bowls to serve

Instructions

How to make it
  1. Chop all the fruit into bite-sized pieces
  2. Mix the yoghurt and honey in a small bowl
  3. Divide the fruit between the bowls
  4. Top with the honey and yoghurt mixture and sprinkle some toasted nuts on top - delicious!
