Pizza Cake

Ingredients

For the base:
  • 1 cup thick Greek yoghurt
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
For the sauce:
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup Cleverest Tomato Sauce or 1-2 tbsp. tomato puree
Toppings
  • Sweetcorn
  • mushrooms
  • red onion
  • spinach
  • peppers
  • olives
  • cooked meat (like chicken or ham)
  • pineapple
  • grated mozarella
  • grated parmesan

Instructions

How to make it
  1. Measure out the Greek yoghurt
  2. Measure out one cup of flour, add to the yoghurt and mix it with your hands - it's gonna be sticky! Add flour to your hands to stop the dough sticking!
  3. Keep adding small amounts of flour until the yoghurt and flour come together in one ball of dough that comes away easily from the side of the bowl. You may need up to half a cup extra.
  4. Chop and slice all your toppings. Put them in separate bowls so that everyone can choose their own toppings.
  5. Turn the oven on to 220 degrees.
  6. Line a baking tray with baking paper and sprinkle some flour on it.
  7. Divide the dough in three. Put each piece onto the baking paper and smash it down. Shape it into a circle (or a square or triangle! Who says pizza has to be round?) by pushing into it using your fingers or knuckles (it will be too sticky to roll).
  8. Top with sauce (not too much - spread it thinly) and then add as many toppings as you like.
  9. Finish with as much or as little cheese as you fancy and then pop it into your hot oven for 8-10 minutes until the crust is browned and the cheese bubbling.
