Aoife, Our Lady’s Terenure

The Cool Food School visited our Transition Year students in September and Deirdre Doyle presented a highly engaging session based on sensory experiences of food. The workshop was very well prepared and interactive to keep the students involved. Deirdre brought a vast array of sensory stimulating foods and the students really enjoyed the process of blind-tasting to focus on their sensory response to the foods. The workshop was absorbing, active and maintained student interest throughout. It was a refreshing approach to presenting to secondary school students and we would definitely recommend the Cool Food School experience!
